Michael J. Filia, CRP - President

Michael came to ARP in 1995 after a 10-year career in the hotel business where he did everything from push a laundry cart to carrying luggage to waiting tables and finally handling convention sales. It was his employment with Hyatt Hotels that took his job to Chicago where he met his wife, Stacy, on his very first day on the job.

He has three boys, Eric, 14, Michael, 9, and Marc, 2. After spending four years in Chicago, he figured out he wasn't made to live in cold weather and he moved the family to southern California. Stacy was born and raised in Chicago so she was not easy to relocate. Now that she is here, she loves it (Especially during the winter months!).

In addition to running ARP, he is also "Coach Mike" as many of the children in our area refer to him. He is President of the youth football and baseball leagues in the city of Irvine, CA where they live. If you want to find him after work, he'll be at the fields. He really enjoys being out there with the kids.

He would also like to think that he enjoys golf and exercising. The only problem is he never has time to do either of them with all the fun things the kids have him doing. He does enjoy visiting baseball stadiums throughout the country during his travels. He has visited 34 different major league baseball parks.
